The Vesta cotton wrap dress imbues crisp sophistication with a bit of elegant glamour. Crafted out of the finest imported 100% Italian cotton striped shirting fabric, the wrap style allows for the ties to be in the back or the front. Framed in French lace, the slit sides add a bit of drama in motion, as the back flares out in a lovely way. The three-quarter length sleeves allow the wearer to easily move through the day, while a peekaboo lace insert in the back gusset allows just a hint of skin. This piece looks fabulous paired with one of our Italian cotton Juno slips, or simply over a swimsuit pool or beachside, for an easy transition.
Vesta is the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and family in Roman religion. Her presence is symbolized by the sacred fire that burned at her hearth and temples. The only roman college of full-time priests, the Vestal Virgins, were devoted to her.
